MEET MAGS COMPTON
Since launching her career in 2015 after graduating Aveda, Mags Compton has pursued her passion for haircolor and extensions, specializing in bronding and beautiful brunettes. She opened The Mane Artistry Salon + Studio in 2020 during the pandemic, with her photographer husband Trae Compton. The dynamic duo wanted to combined their two passions into one by create a unique space with a photo studio inside.
After Mags welcomed her daughter in 2023, she fully shifted her focus to education, traveling around the country to train other stylists and became Moroccanoil's Global Hair Color Ambassador.
Thanks to her obsession with taking the perfect “after” shot for social media, she has also been a member of the Behind the Chair Influencer Team and was nominated three years in a row in the Top 100, Top 25 and Top 5 in the BTC OneShot Hair Awards for color, extensions, and salon decor.
Her work has been featured by Sephora, InStyle, Modern Salon, Behind the Chair, Beauty Launchpad, Masters of Balayage, MN Fashion Week, and Moroccanoil.

Ashley's passion is to ensure every client feels as they should, amazing. Whether that be style, cut or color, she is here to help you look and feel your best. She wants every client of hers to feel absolutely comfortable and satisfied, while achieving their hair dreams. Ashley says, "After years of doing family and friends' hair as a hobby, I started behind the chair full-time in October 2018.

Casey has been in the salon industry for the last 9 years after graduating from the Aveda Institute Minneapolis. Being a natural creative, she loves utilizing her imagination and years of skill to create and execute custom color techniques for each of her guests.
Casey specializes in dimensional balayage, blonding, and lived in color looks.

Kayla became a licensed stylist in 2014. She enjoys keeping up on the newest hair trends and prides herself on continuing her education to expand her skills. Angel graduated from the Aveda Institute Minneapolis in 2021 .Behind the chair Angel really enjoys blonding & custom coloring services that he caters to each individual client specifically for their own look. Angel is now certified with hair extensions as well and looks forward to offering those services to his new or existing clients! He also works as a makeup artist and has experience in editorial, bridal, and soft glam. Since graduating, Angel has had his work published in magazines all over the globe and has been nominated for an award in makeup. He makes ongoing education a priority so that his client’s hair and makeup can keep up with the latest trends. When he’s not working behind the chair he’s usually on set of a photo shoot working with photographers and models doing their hair and makeup, or at a venue getting a bride ready for her special day. Angel is your go-to guy for all things glam!

Shannon graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2013 and has fell in love with all aspects of the beauty industry. She has a strong passion for education that has not only elevated her skill set, but led her back to the Aveda Institute as an instructor! When she is not inspiring the next generation of stylists, you can find her here at the Mane Artistry every Friday. Shannon gladly offers every hair service but has a special place in her heart for balayage, blonding, and transformational colors. Her friendly and calming vibes make you feel right at home. She wants all her clients to leave looking and feeling like the very best versions of themselves.

The face behind The Bronde Boho. Marta offers one-of-a kind custom services tailored to your needs in which primarily include brunettes and brondes. When you leave the salon, Marta aims to make you feel empowered by your new style from the inside out. She looks forward to having you in her chair!

Shatha has been in the hair industry for 4 years and has a true passion for helping her clients feel confident and beautiful. She is constantly staying up-to-date on the latest hair trends and techniques, and loves the opportunity to try out new styles and looks with each and every one of her clients. Her specialties include tape-in and hand-tied extensions, blonding services, and low maintenance looks.
Fun act about Shatha is came to Minnesota when she was 6 years old with her family from Palestine and can speak fluent Arabic.

A natural when it comes to hair, Jaslynn found her styling niche early. With an organic understanding of what makes a hairstyle gorgeous, she landed herself at the Aveda Institute Minneapolis to hone her skills.
An apprenticeship with Travis Parker - a L'Oreal Professional National Artist - followed, exposing Jaslynn to cutting edge education and instruction. With 19+ years industry experience in San Diego and NYC, she was able work alongside some of the top hair artists in the industry and elevate her techniques. Jaslynn continues to build on a solid foundation with advanced education and has recently moved back to Minnesota to bring you her expertise.
Her philosophy remains rooted in a sense of effortless beauty, which shines through in her inspired, stress-free approach.

in looks to enhance someone’s natural beauty and keep their routine low maintenance,” she says.

Graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2007, Laura began her career behind the chair working for a range of fast paced, high end salons to small boutique salons. After 7 years of working in Minnesota she decided to advance her career by moving to California.
Laura spent 9 years in California and found her niche in creating low maintenance dimensional blondes and focused on learning hair extensions.

Ever since Hope was a little girl, she had a passion for helping people achieve their goals and dreams.
Helping people feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin, is her #1 goal. It lights her up inside knowing that she can change the way people feel about themselves.
She has struggled with acne all through high school, and even into her adult age. Hope had to combat many skin conditions. She's learned how to control these conditions and is excited to share her expertise with everyone else.
Hope, graduated from Aveda Institute back in 2018, in Aesthetics, and has been a lash artist for the past 3 ½ years.
She has the confidence and skill to level up your beauty needs.
When she's not in the salon she loves to be active outside, whether that's playing beach volleyball or hiking with friends. She always been described as bubbly, upbeat, positive and brings that energy to every one of her services and guests.
" I want everyone's breath to be taken away by the experience they had with me. Life's not measured by how many breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

Meet Bryn Feltl, she's the owner of Blinged by Bryn - She has been a nail artist since 2019 & licensed since 2021. Her specialties are dry manicures, Structure Gel, PolyGel & Detailed Nail Art. Bryn's favorite part of a nail service is detailed cuticle work, and her favorite nail service is Structured Gel or PolyGel.
She says, "There's almost nothing more satisfying to me than a perfectly structured and sculpted nail or a perfectly square toenail!"
Fun Facts about Bryn:
She grew up in Minnesota, and has traveled to 26 states. She has 2 black cats ( Finnegan & Fae), and she enjoys eating too much sushi and may have a slight shopping addiction!
Blinged by Bryn is a breathe of fresh air from the stress of life as well as going to a normal salon. Using only high-end & high-quality gel products and a certified organic pedicure line to give her clients the most luxurious nail experience they’ve ever had!

For starters, his name is Itraeu (Trae for short). If you've seen the Never Ending Story, then the name may sound familiar to you.
He started pursuing photography his sophomore year of high school after him, and now, wife, Mags (owner) met and has been perfecting his craft since then.
A lot of people have told him he has a "different" creative style within his work, which can be read two ways.
By having a distinct style, it has allowed him to separate himself from many other creatives by being unique.
He says, "we all have a "different" style when it comes to our individual creative process."
